Photographer: Heart & Soul
If you’re searching for a wedding venue that blends elegance with raw natural beauty, Chambré Estate in Margaret River offers something truly special. Surrounded by old-growth Marri trees and native bushland, it feels like a world away, without sacrificing comfort, style, or convenience. If you’re planning an intimate gathering or even if you’d prefer a weekend-long celebration, this estate offers the kind of space that allows your day to unfold naturally and memorably.
Choosing Your Ceremony and Reception Setting
Every corner of Chambré Estate has its own charm, but here are a few of the standout spots our couples love.
The Marri Grove
Quiet, timeless, and dappled in light, this grove of 200-year-old trees is ideal for exchanging vows with nature as your backdrop.
The Olive Grove
Peaceful and intimate, bordered by silver-leaved olive trees and native gardens.
The Lodge
Perfect for relaxed indoor receptions, with warm, rustic details and room for up to 80 guests.
The Birch Garden
A green, open lawn with views over the surrounding bush, ideal for marquees, long-table dinners, or dancing under the stars.
Every couple has a different vision, and our wedding coordinator is here to help you choose the right combination of spaces to bring that vision to life.
Something for Every Season
Margaret River changes with the seasons, and each time of year brings its own atmosphere:
- Spring (Sep–Nov): Fresh blooms, crisp mornings, and soft light. Ideal for garden ceremonies.
- Summer (Dec–Feb): Long days, warm evenings, and perfect conditions for outdoor dinners or twilight ceremonies.
- Autumn (Mar–May): The trees turn golden, the air is mild, and it’s a popular time for photographers.
- Winter (Jun–Aug): A quieter, more romantic vibe. Think candlelit dinners and fireside gatherings in the Lodge.
Make It a Wedding Weekend
With accommodation for up to 34 guests across 12 beautifully appointed suites and cabins, Chambré Estate isn’t just a venue, it’s your own private retreat.
You and your guests can arrive the day before to settle in, explore the bushland trails, or enjoy a soak in one of our wood-fired hot tubs. In the evenings, share stories around the fire pit, and in the mornings, wake up slowly together. It turns one day of celebration into a whole weekend of memories.
Planning with Personality
We know no two weddings are the same. That’s why we keep things flexible and personal. Here’s how we support you:
- We introduce you to trusted local suppliers who know the estate and how to work with the land and light.
- We help you design a layout that suits your flow, whether it’s all in one spot or across multiple spaces.
- We can help source food and wine that highlights the best of the region.
- And if you want to add something special, like a sauna session before the big day or a laid-back brunch afterwards, we’ll help you fit it in.
The Planning Timeline
If you have a specific season or date in mind, it’s worth booking 12-18 months in advance. Once you’re locked in, here’s what the process usually looks like:
- You visit the property, walk through the spaces, and chat with our team.
- You choose your ceremony and reception locations and confirm your date.
- Together, we build your plan, introduce you to suppliers, and guide you through key decisions.
- Tastings, final walk-throughs, and last-minute details are wrapped up in the final month.
Our role is to make sure you enjoy the lead-up to your wedding as much as the day itself.
The Start of Something Special
Margaret River is a beautiful place to begin your next chapter. Many of our couples choose to stay on for a few days, turning their wedding into the beginning of a honeymoon. From private wine tastings to beach picnics and scenic drives, there’s so much to experience.
At Chambré Estate, we don’t just host weddings. We host stories. And we’d be honoured to help you begin yours. To enquire about dates or book a tour, contact our wedding coordinator. We’ll take care of the details so you can focus on the moments that matter most.
